In common with many other American Civil War re-enactment societies, we find that most people (by about two to one) wish to join a Confederate unit, which leaves the Union somewhat outnumbered on the battle field! To remedy the situation, and make for a more enjoyable experience for both re-enactor and viewing public, one or more of the Confederate units will be asked to "galvanize", which means that they change uniforms and fight for the Union on that day. The "alter egos" of these Confederate units are given below:
